The ACC is proud of its heritage, having provided services to the foreign community in Taiwan since 1968. The club's current spacious building was once an American military club used over three decades ago for the entertainment of U.S. forces. Now it is a thriving hub of expatriate life in Taiwan.
The last few decades have seen uninterrupted growth of the club's facilities and services. The Club currently has five dining areas, three full size tennis courts, one racquet ball court and two squash courts. It also has one of the best fitness centers in Asia, a heated 25M swimming pool and a children's wading pool. In addition, its services include a hair and beauty salon, and a library complete with contemporary literature and the latest DVDs.
The Club's multilingual, professional staff — including expatriates who are certified instructors or highly skilled in their disciplines — are recognized as being the best in Taipei. Access to most of its sports and recreational facilities is unlimited and is included in the monthly dues.
The Club's membership includes 45 nationalities, right here in Taiwan. Our members are known for being dynamic, positive and vibrant leaders in their professional fields.
The Club is about making memories that last a lifetime. It provides a place for many important activities: families having fun together, local and expat businessmen making contacts, foreign wives adjusting to life in Taiwan and singles enjoying mixed drinks in a sophisticated atmosphere. An ACC membership is about making friends. It's about spending time in a place where people know your name. It's an experience and a journey.
The Club is governed by an elected Board and its financial affairs are overseen by a Board of Supervisors. Each regular or associate member hands over a membership bond that is fully refundable upon termination of the membership.
The Club is outward looking and consistently seeks to enhance its facilities and meet the ever-evolving needs of the international community. It sets local standards for innovation, active participation, and forward thinking in helping its Members – you and your family - achieve that vital work-life balance. |
