Dear Members:
Phase Three of our Interior Redesign project is moving along and the California Room will be completed by mid November. To keep the members advised of the project, we have done the following:
A California Room flyer has been mailed to all members explaining the new facilities.
California Room renderings have been strategically placed on the wall at the entrance in the lobby for members to see what the new face of the California Room will look like.
An information desk has been set up in the Lobby. Emily and Leena will be in attendance during lunch and dinner to pre-sell the California Room to Members; they will also hand out flyers.
A reopening cocktail reception will be held in November. Invitations will be sent to all chambers of commerce, selected corporate businesses and Members when a date has been determined. An invitation will be mailed to all Members who used the California Room in 2007 and 2008.
Banquet sales letters will be mailed to Human Resource managers at ACC corporate membership accounts.
A Chinese buffet menu will be available to give Members more options.
California Room badges will be worn by all front-line staff. These will state: “Ask me about the California Room” to increase awareness.
We will also be replacing the wood trellis that is barely holding up the plants on the poolside wall along Bei An Road with a sturdier metal structure. The project will start in early November and be finished by Thanksgiving.
