Dear Members:
Welcome to the New Year.
This year we have the Western and Chinese New Year back to back. The New Year is a great time to reflect on the events of the past year and to consider how we can improve ourselves and our lives for the coming year. With the great economic challenges that we are currently facing, there is much to hope for in terms of improvement. It is a good time to take stock and establish proper goals and priorities for the coming year.
For the ACC, we had great results from our big redesign project, and moving forward, we know that we have to properly invest in the future of the Club to successfully continue to handle the challenges ahead. We at the board intend to do just that.
With the newly renovated facilities, we hope that you and your families are enjoying the Club and able to take full advantage of everything that the Club has to offer. We look forward to a great 2012 and the opportunity for continuous improvements to further make the Club a seven days a week club and the place to be in Taipei.
For 2012, we will be holding the Board retreat in February to take the opportunity to brainstorm and identify what we want to accomplish for the coming year. This is a key time for the Board to assess the past year and update and enhance the Club s strategic plan in order to lay out what will need to be accomplished during the year.
Fortunately, we have had a very successful year and I want to thank the Board and the Management team at the ACC for helping to make this happen.
Wishing you and your loved ones a “wonderful holiday season and a joyous and healthy New Year”.
See you around the Club,
Godwin Chang
President
