Bring your costumes and have fun with Theater Artist Katie!
This year we are going to have the “Kids Halloween Runway” be part of the ACC Halloween Party program again. Katie is going to help the kids prepare by encouraging them to have fun while they practice walking and moving their bodies. She’ll also teach them how to get into the character of their costumes before the party. For example, she may lead kids to play a scary witch with a cackling laugh or teach them how to be a clown with silly faces and gestures. This will also help kids build their confidence to proudly walk on stage!
With Katie’s engaging, mature and inspiring personality, there is always gaiety and laughter in her classes! Don’t miss the last chance of 2015 again!
About the Instructor- Katie Partlow
Katie is a professional performer from Olympia, Washington who uses over 20 years of theater and 15 years of cross-cultural experiences to create unique and diverse environments for students and audiences to learn more about themselves. As the Artistic Director of Solo Taiwan Theater, she has worked with a wide range of theatrical companies.
She will use the drama skills by games, interaction or dramatic body language to lead kids to know more about themselves and body control.
Please wear kid’s costume into the classroom!
