Dear Long Standing Members,
We would like to remind you of the upcoming special dinner party to recognize you and all other long standing Members for your loyal support to ACC over the past 25 consecutive years and beyond. The party will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 6:30 pm and the theme will be “Spring Floral”.
In addition to a wonderful dinner among old friends, we have organized the band “The Odyssey” to entertain you with a wide range of contemporary music, dancers from “Arthur Murray” will provide a fantastic dance performance and we will have a picture slide show highlighting the Club’s early days to bring back fond memories from the past with your fellow Members. (If you have any old ACC photos that you would be willing to share, we would love to include them in this slide presentation.)
This is a complimentary party to show our appreciation for your long standing support and we kindly request if you could please RSVP together with your main course preferences (either beef or fish) for you and your spouse to assist us with our planning.

The Odyssey (live music)
This 6-piece band led by two lead vocalists has been the new crowd pleaser in and around Taipei. This well-rounded group of five is prepared to perform a variety of pop party songs both classic and modern. With American grooves and a touch of African rhythms, this evening is set for you to be on the dance floor.

Partnership – Arthur Murray Taiwan
A lot of people miss the opportunity to enjoy social dancing simply because they were never introduced to a simple way to learn. Established in 1912, Arthur Murray developed a comprehensive system of teaching that has helped more than 40 million people of all ages around the world learn to dance. What makes the Arthur Murray System unique is that it makes everything simple and easy to learn. The system is also constantly updated to include today’s popular music so that dancing can always be a relevant part of social life. Not only can our students learn the classics such as Waltz, Tango, and Cha Cha; we also offer popular dances such as Bachata, Swing, Hustle, Merengue, together with the latest moves and trends so they will always be up-to-date.
In 2010, Arthur Murray stepped into Taiwan by opening its first studio in Taipei. The President of Arthur Murray Taiwan, Mish Liang Hsu, introduced American Style ballroom dancing to Taiwan because her experience with it was life-changing. She saw how dance brought happiness and self-confidence to many people as well by introducing them to a new community of friends. The Arthur Murray Taiwan Team is committed to providing the best education for anyone who wants to learn dance in a fun, easy, and simple way. All Arthur Murray Teachers are trained and certified to teach and choreograph classic ballroom dances as well as the latest dance trends. Our vision is that our students “walk in and dance out!”
