Opening Schedule to the New Facilities (Expired)
|Date & Time:|
The newly renovated space for Sigis, the Miami Room, the Nursery & Toddlers Area, the Reading Room / Children’s Computer Lab, Games Room and the new Family Change Rooms are complete and we know everyone is very excited to experience these new amenities.
This week, we are working with the contractors and designers on small workmanship issues, attention to detail items, completion of the IT system setup (cable connections, POS installation, Chit Printer installation and testing), which will only be completed by Saturday, September 15 and finally – conducting a deep clean.
This is in preparation for the Opening Party on Sunday, September 16 at 4:30 to 7:00 pm. This open house will give members an opportunity to view the renovated areas, ask questions from our staff and taste samples and hors d’oeuvres based from the new Sigis menu. We will also have some arts & crafts for the children. Given the limited space and large number of members expected to attend this open house event, Sigis will be setup for a standing room cocktail party with only limited seating.
Then, for the following week of September 17th – 23rd:
Monday, September 17 – the Sigis team will need a day to conduct test runs to ensure all equipment functions properly in a real world scenario, identify any necessary changes in the SOPs and allow the team to become more comfortable with the new work environment and systems.
Tuesday – Thursday, September 18 – 20 – the Sigis team will commence actual operation on a controlled / limited seating basis. Please note that as this is the first time the team has worked in this new environment, they need time (in a more controlled environment) to establish their new work routines and further fine-tune the workflows in order to ensure a wonderful dining experience to all members. In order to do this, reservations can ONLY be made through Sigis or online and the outlet will NOT accept any walk-in guests for these three days. (We apologize for the inconvenience but this is essential to ensure a good dining experience for the diners and allow the staff to fine-tune the operation as necessary. With no walk-in dining during these days, Ralf and the Sigis team will use the period from 2:30 – 5:30 pm to recap the lunch performance and make any necessary adjustments.
Friday – Sunday, September 21 – 23 – the Sigis team will commence operations with regular operations for reservations only. During these days, the outlet will NOT accept any walk-in guests. This is necessary to once again control the flow and ensure that team is able to successfully perform in a much higher volume environment while avoiding the likelihood of being overwhelmed with a large number of guests all at the same time. Again, this is essential to ensure an enjoyable experience for the diners while the team is getting comfortable with the space in a full operational environment.
As part of the regular operations, Sigis will now offer a special limited menu from 2:30 to 5:30 pm to allow the outlet to streamline staff during this particularly slow period of the day while still offering members the opportunity to enjoy selected meals that can be prepared with the limited staff throughout the afternoon.
We do appreciate your patience and understanding during the week of ‘transition’ to fine-tune, becoming familiar with the new systems, establishing the best practices and providing you the quality experience that you would expect from Sigis.
