Playground on track for September installation
The Planning Committee and Board of Governors unanimously agreed to proceed with the Playground replacement project at their April meetings. You may recall that construction had been delayed pending clarification of new government regulations for playgrounds. Extensive research, including input from independent industry experts, confirmed that it was safe to proceed with the previously approved design.
However, recognizing that many more families will be staying in town this summer, we have decided to postpone the seven-week demolition-construction-approval process to begin on September 1, so that children may enjoy the playground without interruption until then. Renderings will be displayed on the notice board shortly and may be viewed on the website.
