Welcome the upcoming New Year with a Chinese art demonstration, which will include artists creating traditional Chinese Calligraphy Couplets. World Vision Taiwan

World Vision works in nearly 100 countries around the world, serving more than 100 million children and families suffering from hunger, illness, traumas or being homeless every year. With the generous donations we received over these past five decades, World Vision Taiwan has cared for vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families in the country, as well as those from over 70 countries around the globe. For more details please see: https://www.worldvision.org.tw/

Children in economically vulnerable families in Taiwan are often malnourished or even forced to leave school because they can’t afford food or school supplies. When the bread winner of an already economically vulnerable family is unable to earn income due to unforeseen events such as major illness or accidents, the family struggles to stay afloat. World Vision Taiwan provides services such as nutrition, education and other programs to not only accompany these families through the toughest times, but also give them an opportunity to transform their lives.

Highlights of Domestic Programs

  • Education aid for children in economically vulnerable families to help them stay in school.
  • Nutrition aid for preschool age children for better nutrition.。
  • Financial aid for families facing special circumstances to help them through the toughest times.
  • Livelihood development programs to train and empower vulnerable families for improved income.
