Did you remember last year’s

Hometown 4th of July party??

 

American cuisine, micro-brewed American beers, a holiday theme live music band and more!!

This year, the Club’s hometown 4th of July party will be held on Saturday, July 4, from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Considering the virus, this event will be EXCLUSIVE only for Members! Let’s have fun the night, and celebrate the most important American holiday – the birth of our great nation!

Dress Code: Casual with national colors/stars and stripes

Please note that wearing a face mask, bringing hand sanitizer with you, and keeping your social distance during the event are strongly recommended.

 

 

Best ACC Burger Competition

On top of the list for iconic American food is the hamburger! So in keeping with American tradition, we’ll have the “Best ACC Burger Competition” on the Hometown 4th of July Party! We will invite our young chefs from the Banquet Kitchen, Terrace Kitchen, and Sigis Kitchen to prepare their personal UNIQUE burger! It would be a good opportunity for our young chefs to challenge themselves and to stimulate your taste buds!

Kids Rule the Pool on the 4th of July Party!

For the kids’ activity, we included the very popular water activity “Kids Rule the Pool” from 4 to 5 pm!

This will be EXCLUSIVE for Members!

 

 

Special Guest

We are honored to invite the well-known band – “Muddy Basin Ramblers” to the Club for our Fourth of July Party!!

The Muddy Basin Ramblers are a group of seven musicians from the U.S. and the U.K. with hand-made instruments, such as a washboard, a washtub bass made of orange and green plastic tubs found in hardware stores,  water jugs, pots and pans, the band’s very own made “Formosa Fiddle”, and other house-hold hardware you’d find around the kitchen.
Inspired by the Memphis Jug Band, the Dixieland Jug Blowers, and the washboard bands of the 1920s and 30s, the band has created a fresh new sound with old-time goodness.
The Muddy Basin Ramblers, swing dancing jug band with some down-home blues that can lay down the hillbilly grooves as you wear down your shoes!

 

 

Opening the 4th of July Party to guests

(Published on June 18) We will be opening the party to a limited number of guests on a first-come-first-serve basis beginning on Wednesday, June 24. (Please note that our COVID-19 limit of 4 guests per Membership still applies and guests are only permitted for the Hometown 4th of July Party which starts at 5:30 pm.)

But don’t worry! We have ample space at the tennis court to provide adequate social distancing space for every partygoer, and Members have preferential booking privileges up to and including next Tuesday, June 23. 

We encourage you to book early to save your spot. Limited spaces! What are you waiting for?

Notice

Saturday, July 4 will be the Hometown 4th of July Party.

Please make a note of the following reminders:

Parking

Parking may well be extremely limited both in ACC and RTI. If you plan to come to the Club on Saturday, July 4, you may wish to consider taking a taxi to avoid long queuing times for a parking space.

Tennis

The whole Ground Floor Tennis Court Area will be closed from 6:00 pm, July 3 and all day Saturday, July 4.

Driving and Personal Safety

To the Fourth of July Party Members who plan on drinking alcoholic beverages – don’t drive – organize a lift with someone who isn’t drinking or take a taxi.

Note:

  • Sign up deadline is 5 days before the event day.
  • Cancel before 4:30 pm, July 1 to avoid charges.
  • This event is not included under ACC’s minimum charge policy.
