Since the weather is getting hotter and hotter, refresh yourself with delicious seasonal foods that define Japan’s Summer such as Grilled Eel on Rice. Unagi (freshwater eel) being a typical Japanese summer delicacy. Not only is it delicious, but also it’s full of vitamins that are great for combating heat fatigue.
For this summer’s monthly special, Gyoson has prepared Grilled Eel on Rice. The grilled eel fillets are glazed with a sweetened soy-based sauce made exclusively by Chef Bruce.
The three different ways to enjoy this classic Japanese dish begin with the original flavor with rice, the second with rice and Japanese yam purée, and the third with tea to make ochazuke. May we suggest a fourth way – combinations of your choice?
