Special Thanks to our Christmas Angels

The Club was pleased once again to hold the Angel Tree Event to help the Taipei American School Orphanage Club collect Christmas presents for the Children supported by the Pearl S. Buck Foundation Taipei. All the children received the gifts on December 19 in a small and heartwarming ceremony.

Be A Christmas Angel And Give A Gift To A Child

November 4 ~ December 1

Bring some joy this holiday season to children of new immigrant families experiencing economic hardship here in Taiwan. Since 1980, The Taipei American School Orphanage Club has partnered with the Pearl S. Buck Foundation Taipei to fulfill the Christmas wishes of hundreds of these children with the support from the community.

Last year, was our pleasure to have had the opportunity to host the Angel Tree Event. And this year, with the holiday season just around the corner. We are pleased once again to invite you to be a Christmas Angel and to provide a gift to one of these children!

On Thursday, November 4, an Angel Tree with gift requests will be placed in the lobby.  If you would like to help by giving a gift to a child, the procedure is listed below.

 

How to be a Christmas Angel?

Step 1 – Choose an Angel Card with the requested gift from the Angel Tree.

Step 2 – Bring the Angel Card to the Front Desk.

Step 3 – Fill-in your Membership Number/Name/Angel’s Gift Number

Step 4 – Purchase the requested gift and hand it in unwrapped together with the Angel Card to the Front Desk by Wednesday, December  1!
