A London-based stand-up and writer from Leeds, Adam Hopkins has performed at clubs all over the UK, including Hot Water, Backyard, Angel, Frog and Bucket, and Top Secret.

He started doing comedy while living in Shanghai, China, and has gigged all across Asia in cities like Beijing, Tokyo, Osaka, Taipei, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Wuhan. He was also selected for Circuit Breakers at the 2023 Leicester Comedy Festival, won Reading New Comedian of the Year at the 2023 Reading Indie Comedy Festival, was a finalist in the 2022 UK Chinese Comedy Competition (performing in Mandarin) and was nominated for the 2021 BBC New Comedy Award.

He has also written for shows on BBC Radio 4 Extra and BBC Radio Scotland such as Newsjack, DMs Are Open, and Breaking the News.
