New House Rules Update

This notice serves to formally advise Members of updates to the Club’s House Rules. In accordance with the Club’s governance framework, the proposed changes were reviewed and endorsed by the Membership & Rules Committee and subsequently approved by the Board of Governors. These updates are therefore adopted as approved Club policy and are intended to ensure clarity, consistency, and effective operation of the Club for the benefit of all Members.
Please note that, following the Club name and logo update, all references to “ACC” have been updated accordingly. The full revised House Rules are available at the following link:

For ease of reference, a summary of the key updated and newly revised House Rules is set out below.
- ATTIRE
6E. Dress Codes for Club events: Club Attire, unless otherwise specified.
- GRATUITIES
12B. Provisions may be made for individuals or companies to make contributions to the Club’s annual Employees’ Party and/or the Lunar New Year “Red Envelope Fund” for employees. All such contributions must be made through, and recorded by, Club Management.
- FINANCE
13G. Any Member who fails to pay charges by the end of the second month (following the month in which such charges were incurred) shall no longer be entitled to credit at the Club, and his/her signing privileges may be immediately suspended at the sole discretion of Club Management.
13I. In addition to monthly dues, a minimum purchase charge shall be billed to each Member. This charge may be applied toward food and beverage purchases at the Club, must be used within the same billing cycle, and may not be carried forward to the following month.
- SUBMISSION OF COMMENTS, SUGGESTIONS, AND COMPLAINTS
16A. Comments and Suggestions
Members are encouraged to share general comments, compliments, and suggestions directly with Club Management or senior supervisory staff. Comments may also be submitted through the Club’s electronic comment system, accessible via the Club website or QR codes displayed at designated locations throughout the Club.
Club Management will review all feedback and respond as appropriate.
16B. Complaints and Formal Submissions
If a Member wishes to raise a complaint or formal issue beyond a general comment or suggestion, the matter must be submitted individually and addressed through the following escalation process:
- To the respective Department Head
- To the General Manager
- To the Board of Governors / Board of Supervisors
Each level shall be given a reasonable opportunity to review and respond before escalation to the next level.
Members are requested not to raise issues directly with rank-and-file staff.
16C. Petitions
A petition is a formal written request signed by 65 Voting Memberships and may only be submitted if, after the matter has been reviewed by the Board of Governors in accordance with Section 16B, the Member(s) remain dissatisfied with the outcome.
For a Family Voting Membership, the right to petition shall be exercised solely by the primary member or the spouse, acting on behalf of the jointly exercised decision of the family. Any endorsement on behalf of a single Family Voting Membership shall count as one (1) petition only.
Petitions may not be used as a first step, nor as a substitute for the escalation process, and must clearly and accurately reflect the views of the Members signing them.
- SWIMMING POOL
24B. Friendly Priority Lane
To ensure safety, dignity, and equitable access for Members with special needs, Lane 1 is designated as a Friendly Priority Lane.
- Priority Users
Lane 1 is designated for Members with limited mobility, disabilities, medical conditions, or those requiring physical assistance while swimming. - General Use & Right of Way
Under normal circumstances, Lane 1 is open for general use. When a priority user enters the lane, other swimmers are required to give way. - Authority of Pool Staff
Pool staff and lifeguards are authorized to remind swimmers to share the lane appropriately and to assist priority users when entering or exiting the lane. - Accompanying Persons
Instructors, caregivers, or family members may enter the Friendly Priority Lane together with the priority user when necessary. - Non-Compliance
If a swimmer refuses to give way after repeated reminders by the lifeguard, the Club may take appropriate action in accordance with the Club House Rules and policies.
- MOBILE TELEPHONES AND MOBILE DEVICES
29A. The following designated areas, identified with signage, are mobile-friendly areas:
- Phone area outside the bathrooms next to the main lobby
- Outside the Main Club entrance
- Outside the Children’s Nursery
- Around the swimming pool (excluding Sigis Deck)
- Outdoor playground
- Rendezvous (headphones required, Monday to Friday before 6:00 p.m.) and the outside smoking area
The updated House Rules will take effect on March 5, 2026, as approved. Members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these changes. As always, the Club appreciates Members’ cooperation in observing the House Rules, which exist to support a respectful, safe, and enjoyable Club environment for all.
