House Rule Change – Parking Lot and Mobile Telephone Usage

We would like to inform you of two updates to the Club’s House Rules regarding the parking lot Drop Zone procedure and the use of mobile telephones and mobile devices on Club premises. These changes are intended to improve safety, traffic flow, and Members’ overall experience at the Club.

Updated House Rule 30D. Parking Lot – Drop Zone:

30D. All Members and their personal drivers must always obey the instructions of the Club parking lot security staff. For safety and traffic flow reasons, passenger drop-offs must only take place within the designated “Drop Zone” box marked on the driveway near the Club entrance. Vehicles must proceed directly to this marked Drop Zone and must not stop or unload passengers before reaching this area.

Any drivers who attempt to intimidate parking lot security staff, disregard their instructions, or fail to follow the Drop Zone procedure will be reported by their vehicle’s license plate number to Club Management for reprimand. Owners of these vehicles will be held responsible for the behavior of their personal drivers.

Inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated, and continued disregard of these regulations will result in disciplinary action being taken against the offending Member.

Updated House Rule 29A – Mobile Telephones and Mobile Devices

29A. One of the ACC’s fundamental missions is to facilitate face-to-face social interaction so that all Members have an opportunity to converse with each other in a more relaxed, personal environment.

Therefore, the use of mobile telephones and/or equivalent devices (e.g., mobile phone, tablet, laptop, computer-integrated Voice over Internet Protocol/Internet Protocol (VoIP/IP) applications such as Skype, Line, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger/Instagram Voice Call, etc.) for phone calls or voice messaging made on Club premises is strictly prohibited so as not to disturb others.

The use of the speakerphone function on a mobile device is not permitted anywhere within the Club’s premises.

The designated mobile-friendly areas, identified with signage, are:

  1. The phone area outside the bathrooms next to the main lobby
  2. The telephone booth located opposite the Market
  3. Outside the Main Club entrance
  4. Outside the Children’s Nursery
  5. Around the swimming pool (excluding Sigis Deck)
  6. At the outdoor playground
  7. In the Rendezvous (only with headphones, Monday to Friday before 6:00 p.m.) and the outside smoking area

Please note that this rule change will be effective as of May 1, 2026.

We believe that these changes will help enhance the overall experience at the Club and ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit for all. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to improve our services and policies.
