About Yukinobosha 雪の茅舎
Located in Akita Prefecture, Yukinobousha is one of Japan’s most respected sake breweries. The name “雪の茅舎” translates to “Snow Hut”, symbolizing purity, tranquility, and harmony with nature. Blessed with pristine snowmelt waters and fertile rice fields, the brewery has perfected its craft through generations. Their philosophy blends traditional brewing methods—such as the time-honored yamahai fermentation山廢發酵 —with modern precision, creating sake that is both elegant and expressive of Akita’s terroir.
