Monthly Unspent F&B Minimum Reminders (Expired)

During October and November we are introducing a new Unspent F&B Minimum Reminder notification service.

How Does the Service Work?

This is a new automated service that will send you a notification message approximately 7 days before the end of your billing period informing you if you have an amount that remains to be spent towards your monthly F&B Minimum Amount before the end of that billing period.

When Will I Receive My Notifications?

This will depend on your Membership billing period.

If your billing period is by the calendar month your notifications should be received between 10am and 11am around 7 days prior to the month end. If applicable you will receive your first reminder towards the end of your October billing period.

If your billing period runs from the 16th of the month to the 15th of the following month your notifications should be received between 10am and 11am on or around the 8th of the month.  If applicable you will receive your first reminder towards the end of your October 16 – November 15 billing period.

What Do I Need To Do To Receive the Notifications?

If notification by email is a good approach for you then you should not need to do anything – provided we have a valid email address on file for you then reminders will be sent to you whenever you have an unspent amount. For other notification options, or for further information about eligibility for the service, please check the sections below.

How Do I Configure the Service?

UnspendMinimumNotificationsBy default reminders will be sent to you by email, but you can choose to have them sent to you by email, or by SMS to your mobile phone, or by both methods. You can also deactivate the service completely by un-checking both communication options.

You can make these configuration changes yourself by logging into the ACC website and going to the Unspent F&B Minimum Reminders page in your Members Only section of the website.

Alternatively you can request us to make the changes on your behalf by contacting the Membership department on accmembership@americanclub.org.tw or on 2885-3655 ext. 66.

 

Why Might I Not Have Received a Reminder?

  1. Reminders are only sent to you in a given month if you have an unspent amount remaining at the notification date.
  2. If we do not have a valid email address or mobile phone number on file for you we will not be able to send you notifications. You can update your communication details via your Members Only login page of the website, or by contacting accmembership@americanclub.org.tw.
  3. If you have unchecked both the the email and mobile phone options no reminder notifications will be sent to you.
  4. The notification service will also not work for a small number of membership types – if you have any questions about this please contact our Membership department.
  5. It is also possible that emails may be delivered to your junk/spam folder. If you think you should have received a reminder but did not then please check your spam folder and mark the mail as “not spam” if you find it there.
  6. If you are using a company email address it is also possible that emails from ACC are being blocked by your company firewall. If you suspect this might be the case then please check with your company IT department.

If having checked the list above you believe you should have a received a reminder but did not then please contact the ACC IT department for assistance on it@americanclub.org.tw.

 

Home Leave Periods and Other Temporary F&B Minimum-Related Adjustments

If you are currently on an agreed period of ‘Home Leave’ period, or if you have any other current agreed temporary change from the standard monthly NT$3,200 Minimum Charge for the current billing period you may find that the amount shown on your reminder notice is not what you had expected. In these special cases you may need to check directly with the ACC Accounts Department to verify your correct remaining amount.
