Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Exercise Your Right to Shape the Club!

In accordance with the Articles of Association, over 50% of our Voting Bondholders are required to be present (or by proxy) to meet a quorum. Further, voting Club Members need to approve the 2024 agenda items (Governors, Supervisors, budget proposal, CapEx, Financial Statements etc.) in order to continue club operations uninterrupted.

Additionally, the Board has taken a proactive stance in encouraging Members to participate in the AGM and exercise their voting rights. To express our appreciation for their invaluable support, the Board has decided to offer a token of gratitude—an NT$1,000 food and beverage credit for each voting bondholder who casts their votes. This incentive not only acknowledges their contribution but also fosters a sense of community and shared responsibility in this pivotal Club initiative. The credit will be redeemable from 4/29/24.

AGM information was mailed on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, while other materials have been posted in the Members Only section of the website (please click here, login required), on the Club’s notice board, as well as in the lobby. These will help you make an informed choice.

Please complete and return your Ballot (2 pages), “Attendance Form” or your “Not Able to Attend Form with Proxy” as soon as possible and plan to visit the club on Saturday, April 20 to help ensure we meet our physical attendance requirements.

One-Day F&B Credit Sale is Back!

Due to the popularity of last year’s F&B Credit Sales, for one day only, on Saturday, 20th April, we are offering the opportunity again to purchase F&B credit for use at the Club throughout the year. Every NT$1,000 of credit will only cost NT$888. You may purchase up to NT$100,000.

Condition No pre-booking is permitted for the credit; you must visit the Club in person on the specified day to sign the check
Sale Hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. After 5:00 PM, credit purchases may be made at the Front Desk until 9:00 PM.
Details
  1. Credit can be purchased in multiples of NT$1,000, up to a maximum of NT$100,000 per active membership.
  2. This offer is available to all membership categories except Overseas House Guest and Guest memberships.
  3. The credit purchase is per active membership, not per person.
  4. You will sign for the total amount required on a special form, and the discount will be applied through the system.
  5. For instance, if you sign for NT$10,000, you will only be charged NT$8,880 on your statement.
  6. The credit can be used for multiple transactions and does not need to be utilized at once.
  7. The credit will be ready for redemption on Monday, 22nd April.
  8. After this date, your current credit balance will be displayed at the bottom of the Primary Member’s POS transaction slips, and at the bottom of your monthly account statements.
  9. The Food & Beverage Monthly Minimum will not be deducted from the initial purchase but only when credit is used afterward.
  10. There’s no need to spend your Monthly Minimum before utilizing the credit.
  11. The credit is applicable to all Food & Beverage items, including all restaurants, the Market, F&B events, etc.
  12. It can also be used for promotions offering special prices or discounts.
  13. For example, you can use credit for promotions like super savers in the Terrace or special wine promotions in the Market.
  14. However, credit cannot be used for lesson fees, non-F&B items, or non-F&B events.
  15. GUI invoices with the net value will be issued at the time of purchase on 20th April. No invoices will be provided upon future redemption.
  16. The credit is non-transferable to another Member.

Also be reminded that on the same day, we have the 2024 Annual Member Appreciation Party. We will close the Club that afternoon till evening to thank all the Members for their support of the AGM and another successful year. Members may still vote while the clubhouse is closed to set up for the party and during the party until sufficient ballots are collected.

We are expecting a large number of Members to attend the party and considering that we will be serving plenty of beer and wine for adults, it is highly recommended for Members to take a taxi – or public transportation.
