The new ACC Book and Discussion Club met on Thursday, March 18 in the San Francisco room and created a reading plan for the months of April, May, and June. We have also created the “ACC Book Club” group on Line for book recommendations and other communications.  Future meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of each month at 3 P.M.

Our reading themes are deliberately very broad, to allow each club Member to select whatever they wish to read that is relevant to the broad theme.  At meetings, time will be allotted to each Member to present and lead the discussion on the key issues raised in the book or essay that they have read.  This should allow for a great range of views to be presented on the subject matter at hand.

Look for recommendations from Members on the ACC Book Club group on Line.

We now have a reading and discussion group at ACC. Interested readers and writers are invited to join.

We will meet in San Francisco Room on March 18, at 3:00 P.M.  At this time we plan for each participant to let the group know about what books they would be interested in reading over the next three months.

Focusing on what subjects participants are interested in reading and discussing, we will choose our topics of common interest, and identify books (and even articles) to read which would inform these topics.  Each participant can pick what they want to read on the focus topic.

We plan on meeting monthly to discuss what we have read and what we have learned.
