A quiet Hong Kong gem, Kowloon side

The USRC (United Services Recreation Club) was originally a club for Members of the British Armed Forces stationed in Hong Kong.  Today it is a vibrant, multi-sport family club with affordable guest rooms located in Kowloon, far from the disturbances currently rocking the city and within walking distance of the Jordan MRT station.

The Club feels a lot like the ACC, with an intimate, casual clubhouse, similar recreational offerings and great programs and facilities for children.  After a hard day of business (or shopping), you can unwind in the Chairman’s Lounge with a crackling fire in the winter and year-round views of the garden and pool.  The Garden Café features western, Chinese, Indian and East-Asian Cuisine – something for every taste bud.  The Gascoigne Room offers fine food and an extensive wine selection, perfect for a romantic dinner or family or business entertaining, with a pianist on weekends.

Taking after its personable, long time General Manager Noel Burns, the USRC is a friendly, welcoming and totally unpretentious club and a great place to stay.  You can expect a warm Irish welcome from Noel and warm and friendly hospitality from his team.

Our Member Services Desk can arrange a letter of introduction for a quick visit or for an overnight stay.  Regardless, it will feel like a home away from home.  Please tell Noel that David sent you!
