For ACC’s Youth
We are happy to announce that ACC will be offering a fitness course for our youth aged 12 to 16 throughout the summer.
The course is based on the popular sport Olympic Weight Training (OWL) focusing on technique and mobility, performed in a safe manner using lighter weights – not the incredible weights lifted in Olympic competition.
This course is based on a circuit based training approach which includes bodyweight training to develop strength in the legs, chest, back using a variation of squats, push-ups and pulling exercises using gymnastic rings.
This combination of strength and power movements has been proven to advance strength, power, stamina, mobility, and coordination – desired attributes for all types of sports.
Schedule: Sessions start in August
- Every Monday: From 11:15 am – 12:15 pm for ages 12 – 14
- Every Wednesday: From 1:30 – 2:30 pm for ages 14 -16
Class Size: Maximum 6 Teens each class / Minimum 3 Teens for the session to start.
