For ACC’s Youth

We are happy to announce that ACC will be offering a fitness course for our youth aged 12 to16 throughout the summer.

The course is based on the popular sport Olympic Weight Training (OWL) focusing on technique and mobility, performed in a safe manner using lighter weights – not the incredible weights lifted in Olympic competition.

This course is based on a circuit based training approach which includes bodyweight training to develop strength in the legs, chest, back using a variation of squats, push-ups and pulling exercises using gymnastic rings.

This combination of strength and power movements has been proven to advance strength, power, stamina, mobility, and coordination – desired attributes for all types of sports.

 

Schedule:  Sessions start in July

  • Every Tuesday: From 11:00 am – 12:00 noon for ages 12 – 14
  • Every Thursday: From 2:30 – 3:00 pm for ages 14 -16

Class Size: Maximum 6 Teens each class / Minimum 3 Teens for the session to start.
